Banana diet, advantages and principles. For whom is it intended?

Bananas are fruits that contain a whole bunch of nutrients, yet many people who want to lose weight give them up, arguing that they are simple sugars. However, studies have shown that thanks to banana diet you can lose up to 7 kg in a short time without any consequences.
What is the banana diet?
The author of the banana diet is a medical graduate Hitoshi Wanatabe. It gained fame thanks to the opera singer Kumiko Mori, who announced that after using it she lost 7 kg in a month.
The banana diet can be followed in three ways: for three days, seven days or one month.
What does the banana diet consist of?
The banana diet, as the name suggests, involves eating bananas. Depending on its duration, a certain amount of bananas must be eaten each day. This diet also involves eliminating salt from the diet, thus preventing water accumulation in the body and speeding up the weight loss process.
Three-Day Banana Diet
In the three-day banana diet, the diet consists of eating three bananas every day. In addition, we drink three glasses of milk and 2 liters of water (preferably still mineral).
The duration of this type of diet should be exactly 3 days, because if it is prolonged, we may run the risk of lack of nutrients and minerals. Three-day diet does not last long, and already in such a short time we can lose 3 kilograms of weight.
Weekly banana diet
If we decide on a weekly option, our menu looks like this: during the day we eat three meals, which consist of a mixture of half a banana, three teaspoons of oatmeal, a teaspoon of honey and natural yogurt (about 200 ml). In addition, two snacks, second breakfast and afternoon snack, for which we eat an apple. This way of eating will allow us to lose 1.5 kg in seven days.
One month banana diet
Following a one-month diet requires slightly different rules of conduct than in the case of a three-day and one-week diet. In the one-month diet we start the day by eating a whole banana and drinking a glass of still water.
The ingredients of the following meals are chosen according to the principles of healthy eating, giving up sweets, fatty snacks, fast food and alcohol. We try to limit salt, dairy products and fats, and we eat our last meal at 8pm at the latest.
If you follow these rules for a whole month, you can lose as much as 7 kilograms.

In addition to the possibility of rapid weight loss, the banana diet has a lot of other benefits. And here are the most important of them:
– thanks to the high content of potassium and B vitamins, bananas help to control fatigue and stress, they add energy, providing the will to act all day long,
– bananas are fruits with quite a high calorie content, so they reduce the feeling of hunger, making us feel less like snacking,
– bananas contain a large amount of monosaccharides, eating them, we do not have a desire for other sweets,
–by combining bananas with fiber-rich oatmeal, we cleanse our body of toxins,
Banana diet – for whom?
Bananadiet is not good for everyone. It is not recommended for obese people, it is aimed at people who are slightly overweight and those who want to lose weight quickly, for example before holidays. Bananas are tasty, but you have to take into account that this diet is based on low nutrient content, dairy and fat is limited, so banana diet is not recommended during pregnancy. It should also not be used by nursing mothers, teenagers and people after surgery.
The main purpose of banana diet is to cleanse the body of toxins, regulate intestinal peristalsis and improve the appearance of the skin. Less importance is attached to physical activity, but if you want to count on better slimming effects, it is worth remembering about regular exercise. However, a strong effort will increase the need for energy, and thus nutrients such as protein and fats. Therefore, when following a banana diet, it is not necessary to increase the effort.
Banana dietis rich in vitamins and minerals, so it is one of the healthiest. It allows you to lose weight quickly, regulating the nervous system and thus supporting mental well-being. It can be used shorter or longer, depending on the intended effects, but it is not for everyone and requires us to limit a lot of products.
