There are so many reasons for hair loss that sometimes it is difficult to clearly diagnose what causes accelerated balding. Stress, coexisting diseases or even poorly chosen cosmetics, all have a negative impact on the appearance and condition of our hair. This problem should in no case be underestimated, if we do not react after the first symptoms appear, the consequences may turn out to be irreversible. Fortunately, there are many complex measures that can effectively stop the process of balding.

Two new products have recently appeared on the market in Poland and I decided to try them out – a shampoo and serum called Bioxsine, praised on numerous Internet forums. Encouraged by many positive opinions of people who use them, I bought the shampoo first, although the price for a relatively small bottle does not seem too attractive. The producer recommends its product especially for all those who struggle with baldness, and a carefully selected composition of the shampoo is supposed to help. It contains, among others, eight times enriched formula Biocomplex B11, with many valuable substances for hair and skin, zinc, magnesium, iron, flavonoids, linoleic and oleic acid. They are supposed to prevent hair loss by destroying diseased cells inhibiting new growth. The formula is also supposed to nourish the scalp and strengthen weakened hair follicles. All this sounds really beautiful, but I prefer to check its effect in practice. Bioxine shampoo has a pleasant smell and lathers well, even suitable for daily care. My hair has become a bit more fluffy and soft to the touch, but it is not growing back at the rate I expected.

A little disappointed, I reached for the serum, in the form of small glass ampoules. The packaging, which is one complete treatment, holds 24 of them, the composition is similar to the shampoos but the difference is that Biocomplex B11 comes in a stronger, more concentrated dose, supposedly to increase effectiveness. Serum is applied every other day, directly to the scalp, preferably after washing and drying hair. Its effect is more visible, although I expected much more from it. I observed a slight increase in new hair, especially on the forehead line, but I don’t think Bioxsine has any effect on stopping baldness.

Another praised product and unfortunately another disappointment. My search for the perfect product continues, but fortunately I can still use Folisin, a dietary supplement that solves most of my problems with thinning hair. Its perfectly chosen composition, with three unique formulas that nourish and strengthen the hair follicles, preventing their degeneration, the action of the hormone DHT.
