Jejich n&aacute;zev poch&aacute;z&iacute; z latinsk&eacute;ho slova <em>&#8222;vita<\/em>&#8222;, tedy &#382;ivot, proto bychom m&#283;li db&aacute;t na to, aby byly sou&#269;&aacute;st&iacute; na&scaron;&iacute; <strong>ka&#382;dodenn&iacute; stravy<\/strong>, a jejich p&#345;&iacute;padn&yacute; nedostatek dopl&#328;ovat vhodn&#283; zvolen&yacute;mi dopl&#328;ky stravy. Vitam&iacute;n&#367;, kter&eacute; pot&#345;ebujeme dod&aacute;vat, je mnoho, ale jedn&iacute;m z nejd&#367;le&#382;it&#283;j&scaron;&iacute;ch, kter&yacute; si na&scaron;e t&#283;lo nedok&aacute;&#382;e vyrobit, je <strong>vitamin C<\/strong>, tj. <strong>kyselina l-askorbov&aacute;<\/strong>.<\/p><h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Vitam&iacute;ny &#8211; co jsou a jak je d&#283;l&iacute;me<\/h2><p>Jak jsem se ji&#382; zm&iacute;nil, vitaminy jsou organick&eacute; slou&#269;eniny, kter&eacute; jsou nezbytn&eacute; pro na&scaron;e zdrav&iacute; a podmi&#328;uj&iacute; pr&#367;b&#283;h mnoha <strong>d&#367;le&#382;it&yacute;ch proces&#367;<\/strong>, zejm&eacute;na metabolick&yacute;ch.
